From July 1 to August 31 at the Planetarium many appointments to show the beauty of the summer sky

After the success of the first edition this year again "Astrosummer 2011." From July 1 to August 31 the planetarium - which is part of the Civic Museum Network of the City of Rome Department of Cultural Affairs and Communication - Superintendence of Cultural Heritage - will make its stars shine with a rich calendar of astronomical events, conferences, parties observation and concerts.

Every night from Tuesday to Friday at 21.00 and 22.30, will be offered to the public two stellar performances to choose from the vast programming of the Planetarium: Skyshows, Astroconcert, Celestial Landscapes, and many other impacts. During the weekend, then doubled the offer, with the addition of two matinee performances at 17.00 and 18.00, with shows for children and foreign visitors.

The season will officially open July 2 on the square of the Planetarium (Piazza G. Agnelli) with a large Star Party. The event will challenge urban glow of the lights and give the possibility to all those who have an astronomical instrument, arrange for their observation post.
We will then continue throughout the summer with a rich program of shows in the dome, conferences astrophysical observations through the telescope remotely or directly with the eye to the eyepiece, children's events and book presentations.
